I love reading about various mythologies, and the idea of a futuristic story that ties in aboriginal mythologies is something I can't pass up. Plus the cover is absolutely gorgeous!

When a search threatens Cass and her family, they flee to the Island, a mysterious and idyllic territory protected by the Band, a group of guerilla warriors, and by an enigmatic energy barrier that keeps outsiders out and the spirit world in. I completely agree. I don't think I've seen/read anything yet that mixes mythologies with a dystopia. It'll be an interesting read!
